Oasis ice peak cooling tower how to choose the model
First of all, let's look at what options are available. Of course, the cooling tower is not good or bad, just look at whether it is suitable or not. According to the ventilation mode, the cooling tower is divided: ① Natural draft cooling tower; ② Mechanical draft cooling tower; ③ Mixed draft cooling tower According to the contact mode of water and air, the cooling tower is divided: ① wet cooling tower; ② dry cooling tower; ③ dry and wet cooling tower. Cooling tower according to the flow direction of hot water and air: ① counterflow cooling tower; ② crossflow cooling tower; ③ compound flow cooling tower
Closed cooling tower fan maintenance little knowledge are here
As a key part of the closed cooling tower, the selection of the right fan is very important for the closed cooling tower. Many customers in the choice of closed cooling tower, the parameters and configuration of the fan is only done to the point, the general brand manufacturers as the evaluation criteria, but as a closed cooling tower manufacturers, with a good fan on their own closed cooling tower plays a decisive role. So how should we maintain the closed cooling tower fan?
Closed-circuit cooling tower heat exchanger maintenance
The water accumulated inside the spray water tank needs to be replaced promptly. Since the closed cooling tower relies on water evaporation to absorb the latent heat of vaporization to reduce the temperature of the fluid inside the pipes, the spray water will continuously evaporate. The scale ions will continuously concentrate, and their concentration will increase. Once it exceeds saturation, crystallization will occur, attaching to the heat exchange tubes, the inner walls of the spray water tank, the spray pump, and the inside of the pipes. This buildup will increase over time, affecting the cooling effect. Over time, the cooling capacity decreases and eventually fails to meet production requirements. In severe cases, the heat exchange coils will have to be replaced, causing significant waste of funds and time.
Introducing the working process of a circular open cooling tower
The hot water autonomous machine room uses a water pump to pressurize the circulating water through pipes, horizontal throats, curved throats, and central throats into the cooling tower's water distribution system. The water is evenly sprayed onto the packing material through small holes in the distribution pipes.
What is a circulating water cooling system?
With the development of urban construction, the circulating water cooling system has become an indispensable part. The system corresponds to refrigeration equipment and includes a cooling tower located on the roof of the podium, circulating water pumps on the second basement level, manual and electric butterfly valves, filters, electronic descalers, and more. The main refrigeration unit is located on the first basement level, sharing the supply and return water mains for cooling water. A drain valve is installed at the low point of the system for emptying and sewage discharge. Considering that sometimes the municipal water pressure on the podium roof is insufficient, a makeup water pump supply system has been added, controlled by the upper and lower water levels in the cooling tower sump to start and stop the pump. Expansion joints are added to the pipeline where it crosses deformation joints. Rigid waterproof sleeves are installed at the wall panels inside the crossover room. Pressure gauges are installed on the pipelines before and after the pumps and chillers. To protect the refrigeration unit, a water flow indicator interlocked with the main unit is installed on its inlet pipe.
Operation and Maintenance of Counterflow Closed-Circuit Cooling Towers
When a closed-circuit cooling tower is in operation, like any other piece of equipment, it requires timely maintenance and upkeep to ensure proper functioning. 1. Electrical System: All motors installed on the counterflow closed‑circuit cooling tower should undergo regular inspection and maintenance, focusing on checking the junction boxes, cables, operating noise, housing temperature, bearings, and current levels. 2. Control Cabinet: Inside the cabinet, regularly inspect for dust accumulation, metal filings, and foreign debris around switches and buttons; verify that wiring connections are secure and free from looseness or disconnection. Additionally, check whether the temperature controller of the Oasis Bingfeng closed‑circuit cooling tower has been exposed to water, and confirm that the contactors operate smoothly and open reliably. 3. Spray Water Tank: Ensure that the internal spray water is cleaned and replaced weekly to prevent prolonged use without replacement. Since the spray water is a consumable resource, H₂O continuously evaporates while dissolved ions remain trapped inside, causing their concentration to steadily rise. When this concentration exceeds the saturation point, crystallization may occur.
