So how should we maintain the closed cooling tower fan?
Fan impeller repair, maintenance:
At the beginning of the operation of the impeller and all regular inspections, as long as there is a chance, the impeller must be checked for cracks, wear, dust and other defects. Whenever possible, the impeller must be kept in a clean state, and regularly use a wire brush to remove the dust and rust on it, because as the running time lengthens, the dust cannot be evenly attached to the impeller, causing the impeller balance to be destroyed and even causing the rotor to vibrate. As long as the impeller is repaired, it needs to be dynamically balanced again. If possible, you can use a portable balance instrument in the field balance. Before dynamic balancing, all set bolts must be checked for tightening. Because the impeller has been operating in an unbalanced state for some time, these bolts may have become loose.
Maintenance of casing and air inlet chamber:In addition to regular inspection of the casing and the intake chamber for serious wear and tear, removal of serious dust accumulation, these parts can not be other special maintenance. Regularly check whether all fastening bolts are fastened. For the fan with pressing bolt, press the butterfly spring on the foot to the installation height specified in the drawing.Maintenance of bearing department:Always check the oil supply of bearing lubricating oil. If there is oil leakage in the box body, you can tighten the bolts of the end cover a little. If this is not possible, you may have to replace it with a new sealing packing. When the lubricating oil of the bearing is used normally, it should be replaced at least once in half a year. When it is used for the first time, it should be carried out after about 200 hours of operation. The second oil change time should be carried out in 1~2 months. After that, the lubricating oil should be checked once a week. If the lubricating oil is not deteriorated, the oil change work can be extended to 2~4 months. When replacing, the lubricating oil of specified brand (as specified in the general drawing), and put the old oil in the tank thoroughly clean and clean before filling the new oil. If you want to replace the fan bearing, should pay attention to the following: before the new bearing into the bearing, must make the bearing and bearing box are very clean. Place the bearing in oil with a temperature of about 70~80 ℃ and then install it on the shaft. Do not force the assembly to avoid damage to the shaft.
Maintenance of other supporting equipment:For the maintenance of supporting equipment including motors, electric actuators, instruments, meters, etc., please refer to the respective operating instructions. These instructions are provided by each supporting manufacturer, and the manufacturer will pack these instructions randomly and provide them to the user.Maintenance when the fan is out of use:When the fan is stopped, when the ambient temperature is lower than 5 ℃, the residual water of the equipment and pipeline should be released to avoid freezing the equipment and pipeline.Fan long-term parking storage when not in use maintenance work: first:The bearing and other major parts of the surface coated with anti-rust oil to avoid corrosion.Second:The fan rotor shall be manually moved for half a turn (180 °) every half a month or so. Before moving, the shaft end shall be marked so that the original upper point is located below after the rotor is moved.
The motor current is too large or the temperature rise is too high: the first:When starting, the regulating door or the gate in the air outlet pipe is not closed tightly.Second:The motor input voltage is low or the power supply is single-phase power failure.Third:The temperature of the fan conveying medium is too low (that is, the gas density is too large), causing the motor overload.
Fourth:The system performance does not match the fan performance. The system resistance is small, and the amount of wealth left is large, resulting in the fan running in the low pressure and large flow area.
