Operation and Maintenance of Counterflow Closed-Circuit Cooling Towers

When a closed-circuit cooling tower is in operation, like any other piece of equipment, it requires timely maintenance and upkeep to ensure proper functioning. 1. Electrical System: All motors installed on the counterflow closed‑circuit cooling tower should undergo regular inspection and maintenance, focusing on checking the junction boxes, cables, operating noise, housing temperature, bearings, and current levels. 2. Control Cabinet: Inside the cabinet, regularly inspect for dust accumulation, metal filings, and foreign debris around switches and buttons; verify that wiring connections are secure and free from looseness or disconnection. Additionally, check whether the temperature controller of the Oasis Bingfeng closed‑circuit cooling tower has been exposed to water, and confirm that the contactors operate smoothly and open reliably. 3. Spray Water Tank: Ensure that the internal spray water is cleaned and replaced weekly to prevent prolonged use without replacement. Since the spray water is a consumable resource, H₂O continuously evaporates while dissolved ions remain trapped inside, causing their concentration to steadily rise. When this concentration exceeds the saturation point, crystallization may occur.

Like other equipment, closed-circuit cooling towers require timely maintenance and upkeep to ensure proper operation.

1. Electrical System: All motors installed on the counterflow closed-circuit cooling tower must undergo regular inspection and maintenance, focusing on the junction boxes, cables, operating noise, enclosure temperature, bearings, and current levels.

2. Control cabinet: Regularly inspect the interior for dust accumulation, metal shavings, and foreign debris inside switches, buttons, and components; check wiring for loose connections or disconnections; verify that the temperature controller of the Oasis Bingfeng closed‑circuit cooling tower is free from water ingress; and ensure that contactors operate normally.

3. Spray‑water tank: Is the internal spray water cleaned and replaced weekly to prevent prolonged operation without replacement? Since the spray water is a consumable, H₂O continuously evaporates while the ions within remain trapped, causing their concentration to rise steadily. When the ion concentration exceeds the saturation limit, crystallization occurs.

4. Exhaust system: Inspect the fan, dust cover, and blade assembly for deformation, scaling, or missing components; also check the motor housing temperature, cable entry box, and whether rotation is smooth and flexible.

5. Spray system: Inspect the spray pump of the counterflow closed-circuit cooling tower, evaluating its electrical components, external condition, performance, noise level, and temperature. Also check the piping system for blockages, missing nozzles, or nozzle clogging.

6. Visual inspection of the closed-circuit cooling tower: check for corrosion, leaks, loose bolts, and missing components on the casing; verify that the base is dry and securely anchored; and confirm that all components are functioning properly.
