Spray water temperature
Closed-loop cooling towers use a large amount of circulating spray water to absorb the heat transferred from the condenser surface. During operation, high-temperature media continuously flows through the condenser copper tubes. The heat is transferred to the external spray water via the copper tubes. The spray water, adhering to the surface of the tubes, absorbs the heat and evaporates, completing the cooling process. The cooling spray water in the closed-loop cooling tower absorbs heat and evaporates, changing from a liquid to a gaseous state. The temperature of the water vaporized in this process becomes very high and is not easily affected by normal ambient air.
Advantages of counterflow closed cooling towers
Completely eliminate the hazards caused by debris and scale in the cooling water system: The softened cooling water circulates in a closed loop within the system and does not directly contact the external environment. This prevents the entry and accumulation of floating objects, dust, harmful ions, etc., into the cooling water system, thus avoiding efficiency reduction and dirty faults.
The influence of wet bulb temperature on the outlet temperature of cooling tower!
The wet bulb temperature determines the minimum outlet temperature of the cooling tower after cooling. The wet bulb temperature in different regions is different, so when selecting cooling towers in different regions, the wet bulb temperature is a very important selection element.
Why do cooling towers use counterflow cooling? What is the difference between counterflow and cross flow?
Hot water from the top of the tower down, air from the lower part of the tower up, reverse flow for heat exchange of the cooling tower. It can effectively use the contact area, extend the contact time, force the mouth strong evaporative cooling effect, give full play to the air heat storage capacity, widely used. Generally, it is used when the cooling water is large, the cooling effect is required to be stable, and the water quality is relatively clean.
How closed-circuit cooling towers reduce noise
Currently, there are four main methods for addressing noise pollution: rational site planning, proper selection of cooling towers, controlling propagation paths, and protecting sound-sensitive receptors. Let's now examine these four approaches—and their specific prevention and control measures—in detail.
What’s the difference between counterflow and crossflow closed cooling towers, and which one should you choose?
The closed cooling tower we usually refer to is, in fact, a closed cooling tower—also known as a hermetic or enclosed cooling tower. It features a tubular heat exchanger installed inside the tower, where circulating air, along with water sprayed over the tubes and water flowing inside the tubes, facilitates efficient heat exchange to achieve optimal cooling performance.
