Installation of Cooling Tower
1. Avoid installing in waterproof passages or near high walls that easily reflect sound volume; installation should be on the roof or in well-ventilated areas. 2. When using two or more cooling towers simultaneously, pay attention to the spacing between the towers. 3. Do not install in places surrounded on all four sides by exterior walls or areas with no air permeability; also pay attention to the spacing between the tower and the exterior walls.
I. Environment Selection
1. Avoid installing in waterproof passages or near high walls that easily reflect sound volume; it should be installed on the roof or in well-ventilated areas.
2. When using two or more cooling towers simultaneously, pay attention to the spacing between the towers.
3. Should not be installed in places surrounded by external walls on all four sides or in airtight locations; also pay attention to the distance between the tower and the external walls.
4. Avoid installing in places with heavy coal smoke and dust to prevent blockage of the upper film.
5. Should be kept away from hot areas such as kitchens and boiler rooms.
II. Installation Key Points
1. The foundation should be level and not tilted; the cooling tower centerline must be perpendicular to uneven surfaces, otherwise it will affect the distribution and motor operation.
2. For cooling water inlet and outlet pipes above 175t, adjustable supports should be used.
3. When two or more water pumps are used, a balancing water pipe should be added between the basins.
4. The circulation water inlet and outlet connections should preferably use vibration-proof hoses.
5. The gap between the cooling tower fan blades and the tower wall should be consistent; large differences in the side gaps of the two or three blades are not allowed. Any issues found should be resolved promptly.
6. The motor and reducer should be regularly inspected and maintained; the reducer oil level should be checked.
III. Startup Inspection
1. Check if all screws are tight and if there is any debris inside the tower.
2. Check if the fan and water spray system rotate smoothly.
3. Check if the power supply voltage matches the motor voltage.
4. Check if the belt assembly is installed correctly.
5. Open the makeup water valve to fully fill the water basin and pipes; the water level should be 25mm below the full water pipe.
6. When starting, turn on the water pump first, then the fan; check the wind direction and volume, and adjust promptly until requirements are met.
7. When stopping, turn off the fan first, then the water pump.
IV. Operation Inspection
1. Keep the water tower clean and perform regular water quality treatment.
2. After about 60 hours of operation, recheck the belt tension to ensure it is normal.
3. Check the oil level of the gear reducer and replace the lubricant after 150 hours of operation.
V. Crossflow Cooling Tower Installation and Usage Instructions
1. According to the foundation drawings provided by Oasis Ice Peak manufacturer, first measure whether the embedded foundation is correct and whether the foundation is level and solid; otherwise, corresponding treatment or suspension of installation is required.
2. After foundation verification and treatment are completed, install the lower iron frame on the foundation according to the iron frame and iron parts numbering; the foot of each column of the iron frame may be installed in the center of the embedded steel plate; adjust the top of the lower iron frame to be as level as possible.
3. Install the water basin and water tank assembly; the overall water basin assembly is 15mm larger than the lower iron frame.
4. Perform waterproofing work for the water basin and water tank; refer to the installation instructions for the procedure.
5. After adjusting the lower iron frame footplate with the corresponding foundation plate, weld firmly and ensure fire safety.
6. Complete the installation of the upper iron frame according to the upper iron frame installation drawing and iron parts numbering.
7. Adjust the upper iron frame so that each frame surface is level, each column is vertical, and the iron frame assembly's length, width, height, and diagonal meet the given dimensions; then tighten all screws.
8. Finally, install the fan, motor, and other accessories according to the packing material and other components, and carefully adjust until design requirements are met.
