A Brief Analysis of the Cooling Capacity of Closed Cooling Towers

A closed-circuit cooling tower uses circulating working fluid to carry away the excess heat generated by the machine's operation, creating heat exchange inside the tower and dissipating the heat into the atmosphere. The cooling capacity of a closed-circuit cooling tower refers to how much heat the cooling equipment can reduce from the cooled liquid in one hour. The scientific unit for measuring cooling capacity is Kcal/h, which means kilocalories per hour. Cooling capacity is one of the main parameters of cooling equipment and is very important for the performance of a closed-circuit cooling tower.

The cooling capacity of a closed cooling tower is scientifically measured and standardized in Kcal/h values during research and design. When customers select a closed cooling tower, engineers will debug the tower's performance during testing and installation to ensure its operating indicators meet the design values.

Ordinary customers can also roughly judge the cooling capacity of a closed cooling tower through other indicators of the tower.

First is the cooling range width and cooling range height of the closed cooling tower.

The cooling range width is the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet water of the cooling tower; the larger the value, the stronger the cooling capacity of the closed cooling tower.

The cooling range height is the difference between the cooling water outlet temperature and the local wet-bulb temperature; the smaller the value, the better the cooling effect of the closed cooling tower.

Next is the efficiency of the closed cooling tower; the larger the efficiency value, the stronger the cooling capacity. Furthermore, the heat load reflects the heat dissipation speed of the closed cooling tower; the larger the load value, the stronger the heat dissipation ability of the closed cooling tower!
