Use the closed cooling tower pump this way for greater energy efficiency and durability!
The pump in a closed cooling tower primarily consists of two components: the spray pump used in the spray system and the main circulating pump responsible for power circulation. The performance of these pumps significantly influences the overall efficiency of the closed cooling tower.
The water pump in a closed cooling tower primarily consists of two components: the spray pump used in the spray system and the main circulating pump responsible for power circulation. The performance of these pumps significantly influences the overall efficiency of the closed cooling tower. So, how can we make the closed cooling tower water pumps more energy-efficient?

The water pump used in the closed cooling tower is the device responsible for providing pressure to the entire system; therefore, it must be operated strictly according to specified guidelines. Overloading the pump can lead to insufficient pressure, resulting in supply failures. Once the pump fails to meet its designated operational requirements, it will directly impact the efficiency of the closed cooling tower.
1. Design the length of the pipeline system reasonably and minimize the pipe length as much as possible. The longer the pipeline, the greater the pressure required.
2. Preferably use an electric motor, avoiding diesel or gasoline engines as much as possible. Additionally, a three-phase induction motor is preferable to a single-phase one. When conditions permit, consider using a variable-frequency motor.
3. If the quality of the incoming and outgoing water can be well controlled, consider removing the filter mesh to reduce water flow resistance, which will result in improved circulation efficiency.
4. Avoid using "high-pressure" type outlet nozzles as much as possible. These nozzles can increase the pump's pressure and significantly boost its power consumption. Over-reliance on such pumps may lead to performance degradation, resulting in issues like insufficient pressure and inadequate water supply.

5. Regularly clean the water pipes, as impurities inside the pipes can increase flow resistance. Additionally, these impurities may accumulate in the impeller or diffuser housing, further raising resistance and reducing the amount of water flowing through.
6. Axis linkage offers higher efficiency compared to belt drives.
7. Regularly replace the pump's sealing plugs, as aging of the seals can lead to air ingress, resulting in a drop in supply pressure.
8. The diameter of the outlet pipe should be larger than that of the pipeline whenever possible, compared to the pipeline itself.
