Cooling Tower Operating Principle Diagram
What is a cooling tower? It is a device that uses water as a circulating coolant, absorbing heat from a system and releasing it into the atmosphere to lower the water temperature. The cooling process is achieved through the evaporation of water, allowing the cooled water to be continuously recycled. From an economic perspective, this approach effectively reduces unnecessary cost waste.
Closed cooling tower manufacturer
The company was founded in 2003 and is located in the development zone of Feixiang District, Handan City, an ancient city. It is a professional enterprise engaged in the research and development and production of cooling equipment.
Working principle of closed cooling tower
干燥(低焓值)的空气经过风机的抽动后,自进风网处进入冷却塔内;饱和蒸汽分压力大的高温水分子向压力低的空气流动,湿热(高焓值)的水自播水系统洒入塔内。
What are closed cooling towers, enclosed cooling towers, and square cooling towers all called?
A closed cooling tower (also known as an evaporative air cooler, closed-type cooling tower, or square closed cooling tower) houses a tubular heat exchanger inside the tower. It achieves cooling efficiency by facilitating heat exchange between circulating water inside the tubes and externally sprayed water, all driven by airflow.
Cooling Water Circulation System
A recirculating cooling water system is a water supply system that cools water by transferring heat and then lowering its temperature before reusing it. It comes in two main types: open-loop and closed-loop systems. The system primarily consists of cooling equipment, pumps, and piping. After cold water flows through production equipment requiring cooling—commonly referred to as heat-exchanging devices such as heat exchangers, condensers, or reactors—the water temperature rises. If this heated water were immediately discharged, it would only be used once (known as a once-through cooling water system).
Schematic Diagram of Closed-Circuit Cooling Tower Operating Principle
Operating principle: Internal circulating water system: The cooled circulating water flows out of the tower through the coil and is pumped back to the heat source (the equipment being cooled) by the system’s circulating water pump. After absorbing heat and warming up, this water returns to the coil for further cooling. External circulating water system: External spray water comes into contact with the coil and packing material, transferring heat to cool the internal circulating water within the coil. The cooled water then collects in the lower sump and is pumped back to the spray tank by the spray water pump, ready to be reused in the cycle.
