Potential Issues Encountered During the Use of Composite Flow Cooling Towers
An important feature of the working principle of the hybrid flow (also known as mixed flow) closed cooling tower is to maximize the suppression of scale formation on the outer wall of the coil. What issues need to be noted when the hybrid flow closed cooling tower is paused or undergoing maintenance?
An important feature of the working principle of the hybrid flow (also known as mixed flow) closed cooling tower is to maximally suppress the formation of scale on the outer wall of the coil. What issues should be noted when the hybrid flow closed cooling tower is paused or undergoing maintenance?
01 After suspension of use
After the hybrid flow closed cooling tower stops operating, water will basically be drained from the pipes, and there will be residual water inside the pipes. Mud or other impurities inside the water distribution plates must be thoroughly cleaned. Of course, the filling materials in the closed cooling tower must be inspected to check if the spray nozzles are damaged, and any damaged parts should be replaced immediately. The impurities in the filling materials should be cleaned, and the motor wiring should be checked for any damage or aging.

02 During actual maintenance process
During the actual maintenance of the hybrid flow closed cooling tower, anti-rust paint or lubricating oil must be applied for corrosion protection or upkeep. During this process, there may be plastic film sealing involved. While sealing for preservation, a comprehensive inspection of the gear oil in the reducer should be conducted. Under these circumstances, full repairs can be carried out. There will definitely be more fasteners, and comprehensive maintenance and repair should be performed on the lubricating oil and anti-rust paint areas to achieve better usage standards.

03 Inspection after long-term operation
After about four months of operation of the hybrid flow cooling tower equipment, an inspection can be appropriately conducted. Consumable parts such as gear oil can be replaced based on actual wear conditions.
