Preparation before operation of cross-flow cooling tower!
1. Remove foreign objects from the air inlet. 2. Ensure there is sufficient clearance between the tail of the fan and the air duct to prevent damage during operation. 3. After completing the above checks, intermittently start the switch to check whether the fan is operating correctly and whether there are abnormal noises or vibrations. 4. Clean the debris from the hot water pan and the inside of the tower.

2. Ensure sufficient clearance between the fan tail and the air duct to avoid damage during operation.
3. After completing the above checks, intermittently start the switch to check whether the fan is running correctly and whether there are abnormal noises or vibrations.
4. Clean the hot water pan and the inside of the tower body.
5. Remove dust and foreign objects from the hot water pan, and then fill the water to the overflow position.
6. Start the circulating water pump intermittently to remove air from the pipe until the pipe and the cold water pan are filled with circulating water.
7. When the circulating water pump is operating normally, the water level in the cold water pan will drop slightly. At this time, the float valve must be adjusted to a certain water level.
8. For the circuit system, reconfirm whether the circuit switch, fuse, and wiring specifications match the motor load.
Starting precautions:
Start the fan intermittently to check whether it is running in reverse or if there are abnormal noises or vibrations. Then start the water pump.
Check whether the fan motor operating current is overloaded to avoid motor burnout or voltage drop.
Adjust the water volume with the control valve to keep the hot water pan water level between 30~50mm, and check whether the operating water level in the cold water pan remains normal.
Precautions during water tower operation
After a cross-flow cooling tower has been running for a week, the external circulating water must be replaced to remove debris and dirt from the pipes.
The cooling efficiency of a cross-flow cooling tower is affected by the level of circulating water. For this reason, it is necessary to ensure a certain water level in the hot water pan.
If the water level in the cold water pan drops, the performance of the circulating water pump will be affected, so the water level must also be kept constant.
