What is a “high-tech enterprise”?
1. High-tech enterprises are knowledge-intensive and technology-intensive economic entities.
2. A high-tech enterprise refers to an organization that achieves development in new fields through science and technology or scientific innovation, or that innovates its operations within existing fields.
3. High-tech enterprises possess strong technological innovation capabilities and advanced technology development capabilities in their respective fields, which facilitate their engagement in both domestic and international markets.
What are the application requirements and evaluation criteria for “High-tech Enterprise” designation?
1. Engage in the research and development, production, and technical services of high and new technologies and their products.
2. Possess corporate legal person status.
3. The overall quality of enterprise employees is high.
4. Each year, enterprises shall allocate no less than 5% of their total annual sales revenue to research and development of high and new technologies and their products.
5. The combined total of a high-tech enterprise’s technical income and sales revenue from high-tech products shall account for more than 60% of the enterprise’s total revenue for the year.
